Why not just use Screen Time?
Pray Shield adds a prayerful pause to Apple's Screen Time protection. You choose the apps, meet Scripture and prayer, then decide whether to continue.
Is it only for Catholics?
Pray Shield is made with Catholic prayer and the Church year in mind. Anyone who wants a short Christian pause before distracting apps can use its core rhythm.
What if I need an app now?
The pause is an invitation, not a punishment. You can pray and continue when you genuinely need to, or consciously skip a prayer hour.
Does the Bible work offline?
Yes. The Bible is available offline in the supported languages, so Scripture stays close when you are travelling or without a connection.
What is included for free?
