Rosary mysteries of the day

A common Catholic weekly pattern assigns these mysteries: the Joyful Mysteries on Monday and Saturday, the Sorrowful on Tuesday and Friday, the Glorious on Wednesday and Sunday and the Luminous on Thursday. Pray Shield shows today’s mysteries in its Rosary guide and in a Rosary widget, so you can start without looking it up.

A prayer pattern, with Scripture in context

The weekly pattern is a recommendation, not an obligation. Feasts and pastoral needs may suggest another choice. Mary’s Assumption and Coronation are contemplated within Catholic tradition; Revelation 12 supplies related imagery, not a direct narrative of those events.
